PRESS RELEASE: Peter Feinstein and The Sapphire Foundation Host Charity Poker & Golf Tournament for Prostate Cancer in New York City

New York, NY (August 9, 2011) – Peter Feinstein, Managing Partner of Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club (The World’s Largest Gentlemen’s Club) and The Sapphire Foundation will be hosting a charity poker tournament at Sapphire New York and a golf tournament at the New York Country Club to raise money for prostate cancer on September 11th and 12th. Due to its tremendous success in Las Vegas, the organization is now bringing the fundraiser to the East Coast to continue to raise funds for prostate cancer victims and awareness to this life-threatening disease.

The Sapphire Foundation is focused on helping men deal with financial assistance for medical expenditures, and to motivate men to get tested for the disease as early detection proves to be crucial in the treatment process. Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer and the second leading cause of cancer death in men in the United States. In addition to raising awareness and encouraging men to get tested, The Sapphire Foundation offers support to prostate cancer survivors who need financial assistance for continued health costs. The foundation has been in existence for eight years and generated over $1,000,000 in donations and sponsorships to benefit programs related to the disease as well as The Nevada Cancer Institute.

“As a survivor, I’m extremely grateful for the support and assistance,” said Peter Feinstein, creator of The Sapphire Foundation. “I love working on this charitable event as it allows us to shed light on prostate cancer, while at the same time, raising money to fight it.”

Attendees will kick off the two-day event by participating in a poker tournament benefiting The Sapphire Foundation for Prostate Cancer at Sapphire New York, 333 60th Street, New York, NY on Sunday, September, 11th. The charitable event will continue on Monday, September 12th with participants being chauffered via luxury transportation to a fabulous day of Creative | Exotic Golf, at the New York Country Club, which will feature 100 beautiful Sapphire Entertainers as Caddies.
