This Thursday will feature two AFC teams heading in opposite directions as the red-hot Bengals head south to face the reeling Dolphins, who have lost four straight after starting 3-0. Cincinnati (6-2, winners of four straight) has a stingy defense that may have exposed the New England Patriots a couple of weeks ago. Led by Andy Dalton and AJ Green, they rank third in the AFC in total offense. Miami will need a big performance from Ryan Tannehill and a spark from offense that will be without Brandon Gibson who is out for the season with a torn ACL. The Dolphins looked great in an impressive first half against the Patriots, and then collapsed in the 2nd half, giving up 24 points. Lamar Miller has solidified himself as Miami’s running back and is bound to get a lot of carries against a dangerous Cincinatti front seven. If Miami can remain consistent on Thursday, look for a surprisingly close game between the two teams.
