There has been a lot of speculation on the web as to whether or not the Oakland Raiders will relocate to Las Vegas, Nevada and it would seem that a lot of the decision is going to fall on the players themselves.

On February 3rd, 2016 Roger Goodell, Commissioner for the National Football met with CBS Sports online for an interview about the Raiders and his thoughts on the move to Las Vegas. CBS Sports reported:

“If the Raiders want to move to Las Vegas, Roger Goodell isn’t completely opposed to the idea. The NFL commissioner told Rich Eisen on Tuesday that if the Raiders want to move there and the owners are willing to approve it, then he likely wouldn’t get in the way.”

Based on the statement from the commissioner, Sapphire Las Vegas is aiming to bring the focus back to Las Vegas and the players themselves by showing them an iconic side of Las Vegas completely free of charge. Sapphire proposes that if the Raiders relocate to Las Vegas, all team members will receive free lap-dances and limo transportation at the best-voted, world’s largest, and most iconic gentlemen’s club in Las Vegas.

“We want to make sure the Raiders receive a warm welcome to Las Vegas,” Sapphire general manager John Lee said to LVRJ on Monday.

CBS Sports had this to say about the Raiders relocation: “The NFL should probably start focusing on it [bringing the Raiders to Las Vegas] because Vegas is. There’s a billionaire casino owner in the city that would very much like to see the Raiders there. The Las Vegas Sands has proposed a $1.2 billion domed stadium that would seat 65,000 people.”
It seems that local businesses are following suit. Las vegas Review Journal reached out to other prominent entertainment businesses to ask if they have given thought to Raiders comps yet.

Chumlee said through a representative he’ll waive his DJ fee for Raiders gigs, particularly for charity events.

Players’ wives and girlfriends will not be left out, since Fawnia Mondey, owner of Pole Fitness Studio, will offer free one-year memberships to Raiders’ significant others.

And Hash House A Go Go will serve all-you-can-eat pancakes to players and coaches, with a caveat: only after hometown victories.
