It’s the Saturday nights at our club when UFC is live that we discover the true energy one room is capable of. Our showroom becomes dedicated to the event of the evening and the aroma is mouth-watering. It’s the smell of gorgeous women, food that makes you salivate right away, and premium alcohol. You can’t ignore it and you don’t want to. This Saturday February 22nd particularly we have UFC170. Two Olympic Medalists that are not willing to fall to defeat. What better way to celebrate the Winter Olympics then to enjoy two winners in the Octagon?
Sara Mcmann earned her Silver Olympic Medal in 2004 for Women’s FreestyleWrestling. She is undefeated i n 7 MMA bouts & has been quickly named Rousey’s toughest match-up. Ronda Rousey on the other hand won her Bronze Olympic Medal in Judo and has beat all 8 of her adversaries since going pro three years ago. This is a Women’s Bantamweight Crown that both ladies can already taste.
The real question is how they will deal with each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Rousey has kept her belt by bringing her opponents to the ground and using her strong jab. Mcmann on the other hand has already displayed the ability to shut down Judo techniques in past fights and will use her wrestling history to keep the fight standing. The biggest fear Mcmann will have is that Rousey is one of the best, if not THE best, grapplers in women’s MMA. Even when her opponents are able to recognize her arm bar coming, they can’t defend themselves against it successfully.
Since Rousey has competed in multiple title matches now and has been in the Octagon more recently then Mcmann, who hasn’t seen it for almost ten months now, she may have an advantage. This doesn’t mean that she will remain the victor. Sara Mcmann is the type of competitor that will watch for certain moves and use her own to counteract. Who will come out on top? Come watch with us this Saturday and buy your tickets in advance to secure your seat for the action http://bit.ly/SapphireUFC
