ABOUT ROBIN SLONINA:
Las Vegas’ very own Robin Slonina is the owner of Skin City Body Painting, which has been providing Las Vegas with body painting and event planning services for 10 years. Skin City is the premiere bodypainting company in the country, located in the heart of the Las Vegas Arts District at the fine arts building “Downtown Spaces” at 1800 Industrial Road.

Robin dreamed of making a bodypainting TV show for years, before teaming up with Michael Levitt Productions and GSN to finally make that dream a reality.
Robin is originally from Chicago, where she attended the prestigious School of the Art Institute to get her Fine Arts degree. After college, she traveled the world creating paintings and sculptures. She was a wandering artist living in her camper van passing through Vegas in 2005 when she met her husband Jimmy Slonina – a Cirque performer on the Strip. She fell in love and settled down in Las Vegas, where they now have a home downtown, a thriving business and a 6-year old son. Slonina is a passionate advocate of her adopted city and a leader in the Arts Community, championing First Friday and the growth of the arts in Las Vegas.
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Television’s first-ever body painting competition show, Skin Wars (10 p.m. Wednesday, GSN), is GSN’s most-watched original series ever.
Skin Wars seeks to find the most innovative body painter in America. In its 3rd season, 12 contestants will compete in elaborate body painting challenges to avoid elimination and win the approval of judges, including legendary entertainer RuPaul Charles and body painting icons Craig Tracy and Robin Slonina. The show is hosted by the gorgeous Rebecca Romijn, a natural choice as the first supermodel bodypainted in a swimsuit for Sports Illustrated, who also spent 9+ hours daily in a makeup chair as “Mystique” for the first 3 X Men films.
The winner of Skin Wars season three will receive a $100,000 cash prize, an all-expense paid trip for two to the prestigious World Body Painting Festival in Austria and a custom-made stencil line from Bad Ass Stencils with their name on it.
Skin Wars is executive produced by Michael Levitt, Jill Goularte, Colleen Sands and Rebecca Romijn. Craig Tracy and Robin Slonina serve as producers.
