Successful Weekend For Local Las Vegas Charity

Over the weekend, over 150 golfers and poker players played a tournament in the name of charity and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved. What an incredible event for an incredible cause. Sapphire Foundation for Prostate Cancer has raised over $2 Million to help victims of Prostate Cancer through this tough time in their life.

LAS VEGAS – October 20, 2015 – Time to sharpen up the ‘ole backhand. That’s right, Fall season at Sapphire means Ping Pong Palooza. The Las Vegas nightlife industry is invited to come out to compete for the No.1 spot and bragging rights on Tuesday, Nov.10th. Get your paddles ready for a night of fun, drink specials, delicious appetizers and great competition.
This year’s tournament is the Ninth Annual Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club Ping Pong Palooza, and Sapphire is proud to host this popular event which was originally inspired by the Christopher Walken’ flick Balls of Fury andhas grown to be one of the most popular annual events at Sapphire. This event is the largest mixed team ping pong tournament in the world.
The tournament pits teams of nightlife professionals against each other for a trophy that could only be described as the “Vegas Cup of Ping Pong.”

Last year the best of the best ping pong ninjas came out to compete from The Seigel Group, SLS, Hyde Bellagio, Beauty Bar, El Dorado Mexican Cantina, Crawl Vegas and Budweiser to name a few, with Tao Nightclub coming out on top and earning bragging rights.
Winners of the tournament receive trophies and prizes including a Skybox Experience valued at $2,000 plus bottle of champagne. All players will receive participation medals and the teams that show “Best Team Spirit” and “Best Uniform” will be awarded bottles of champagne.

Teams must have minimum of four players and at least one female player (You can always choose one of the beautiful Sapphire entertainers to be your female player which is highly recommended

Ping Pong Palooza boasts professional referees from the Las Vegas Table Tennis Association, regulation tables and even a special “exhibition table” complete with bubbly…and bouncy Sapphire’s dancers doing what they do best! The day of the event registration begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and complimentary food.

Arrive early to register and definitely don’t miss the “Topless” Entertainer Ping Pong Tournament that takes place on stage during registration. The tournament begins at 7 p.m.
Entry fee/donation this year is $10 per player, proceeds going to The Sapphire Foundation for Prostate Cancer. In addition to entry, players receive two (2) drink tickets, buffet and raffle ticket for prizes. Teams are also encouraged to raise additional donations for the Foundation and the team that donates the most will receive dinner for eight to El Dorado Mexican Cantina.

The Sapphire Foundation for Prostate Cancer is focused on helping men with prostate cancer that need financial assistance for medical expenditures and other financial needs while being treated for prostate cancer. They also hope to motivate men to get tested for the disease as early detection proves to be crucial in the treatment process. The foundation established in 2003 and has generated over $2,000,000 in donations and sponsorships to benefit programs related to the disease, for prostate cancer research and financial assistance for survivors of this disease.

Sapphire Foundation Celebrates Successful Charity Weekend

The Sapphire Foundation for Prostate Cancer is celebrating the success of its 12th Annual Charity Poker & Golf Tournaments.

Over the weekend, The Sapphire Foundation for Prostate Cancer hosted two charitable fundraising events in Las Vegas, Nevada. On June 7th, the foundation held its Annual Charity Poker Tournament at Sapphire Las Vegas Gentlemen’s Club. On June 8th, they held their Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Bali High Golf Club on Las Vegas Boulevard.

The events were organized to raise money towards helping men with Prostate Cancer. The Sapphire Foundation for Prostate Cancer provides financial assistance to alleviate medical expenditures and other financial needs for those being treated for prostate cancer.


“As a survivor, I’m extremely grateful for the support and assistance,” said Peter Feinstein, creator of The Sapphire Foundation. “I love working on these charitable events as it allows us to shed light on prostate cancer, while at the same time, raising money to fight it. Thank you to our sponsors, donors and everyone who helped in any way.
